This is a list of private instructors that students in our Woodbury High School Band Program are using to help improve their musical growth. There are instructors for most/all band instruments on the list. A vast majority of our students that audition into our premiere performance ensemble (the Concert Band) take private lessons. Additionally, in 2015-2016, we had 7 students make it into the 9-10 All-State Band and 7 students make it into the 11-12 All-State Band, and all take private lessons. Many students from the WHS Band Program have earned significant scholarship dollars in college by preparing for a scholarship audition with a private instructor (even students who did not go into music as a major). Please consider using this list to contact a private instructor today! Their studios are the most open at the beginning of the school year.
